A bright orange raincoat may not be the first thing one would think a suspect would wear while committing a bank robbery.
Nevertheless, that's what a woman — dubbed the "Orange Raincoat Raider" by the FBI — donned while allegedly attempting to rob a Bank of America in Albuquerque last week.
Now, the FBI and the Albuquerque Police Department are looking for the high-visibility suspect.
According to an FBI press release, the woman walked into the Bank of America at 2011 Juan Tabo NE on Feb. 1 at around 3 p.m., wearing the aforementioned coat emblazoned with "S-91" on the front as well as a black baseball cap, a surgical mask and glasses.
She presented a demand note to the teller, the FBI said, but left with nothing.
